Simucube 3 70 mm Adapter replaces the wheel base's original Link Quick Release interface with a standard 6 × 70 mm mount for a compatible third-party quick release.

The connection chain is Simucube 3 → 70 mm adapter → third-party quick release → wheel. The adapter is not a quick release by itself. Replacing the Link interface removes wireless power and data through Simucube Link, so the wheel electronics must use their own USB or Bluetooth connection.
