Questions and answers

What matters before you buy.

Answers to common questions about compatibility, included equipment, software and delivery.
Which wheelbases are compatible with Artemis?
Artemis works with wheelbases that provide force feedback. You need a quick release that fits your wheelbase, and some bases require a specific QR system. Contact SimEdge if you are unsure what you need.
Are all six paddles included?
Yes. Two shifters, two clutch paddles and two upper option paddles are included as standard.
Which software does Artemis use?
Artemis works with both simOS and SimHub. UltraLink in simOS 3.0 lets one encoder control up to eight functions. GSI Companion provides equivalent control and configuration directly in SimHub.
What is the difference between Preset, Hybrid and Custom?
Preset uses GSI’s standard layout, permanently UV printed on the controls. Hybrid combines UV printing with replaceable labels. Custom uses replaceable labels for a more adaptable layout. The choice changes the legends, not the wheel’s functions.
When will pre-orders begin shipping?
GSI plans to begin shipping Artemis in October. The exact delivery date to SimEdge and the customer has not yet been confirmed. SimEdge will update the customer when a more precise delivery estimate is available.
Can the button legends be changed later?
Yes. Replacement labels can be ordered, and the legend type can also be changed after delivery for a fee. Contact SimEdge and we will help.
How are support, warranty and claims handled?
Your purchase is with SimEdge. Questions, support, claims and any warranty matters are therefore handled through SimEdge under the terms that apply to the purchase.

Maintenance

Disconnect the USB cable before cleaning. Gently wipe the wheel with a soft microfibre cloth lightly dampened with 99% isopropyl alcohol, and use a soft detailing brush for hard-to-reach areas. Avoid applying excessive pressure to the button legends, as this may damage the matte finish. Follow GSI's current instructions or contact SimEdge for more extensive maintenance or service.
